Vessel Walkthrough

  • The V-berth forward is the guest stateroom and has a centerline berth, desk vanity, and storage in drawers and lockers.  A large forward-facing hatch provides ventilation. The guest head with separate shower is to starboard and can be accessed from both the v-berth and the main salon.

  • The main salon features 6'6" headroom, 5 large deck windows, a hatch and 4 opening ports set into the fixed side windows. The dinette is to port with a large wraparound settee. A smaller settee is to starboard, just forward of the galley. All windows are new in 2018 and provide excellent cross ventilation.

  • The U-Shaped galley on the starboard  side features Corian countertops and generous storage. The separate freezer is top loaded and the refrigerator is both top and front loaded. A  microwave is cabinet mounted and the 3 burner stove/oven is gimballed. The dual basin sink is located close to the centerline.

  • The electrical distribution panel is found at the navigation desk on the port side, aft of the salon in the walk through hallway to the master cabin. Primary access to the engine compartment is located here, as is chart storage and two large lockers.

  • The master stateroom is aft, with a centerline queen berth, settee and vanity. The master head is to starboard and has a separate tub/shower. A large aft hatch (new Plexiglas and seal in 2018) plus 8 port windows provide cross ventilation. There is plenty of closet space and clothing drawers.

The Hunter Passage 42 is regarded by those that know them to be the most suitable passage maker out of all of the Hunter designs, yet also provides the most comfortable accommodations possible on a 42’ boat, truly offering the best of both worlds.
